What services does JDP Landscaping offer?
We offer mulching, lawn trimming, shrub and tree removal, planting, and seasonal yard cleanups, plus yard drainage and rock and stone work — French drains, surface drains, dry creek beds, boulder placement, stone borders, and retaining walls. Whether you need routine maintenance or a real fix, we handle it.

Do you fix standing water and drainage problems?
Yes. Drainage is one of our main services. We install French drains, surface and catch basin drains, downspout extensions, dry creek beds, and grading work, and we handle erosion control on slopes. If your yard holds water after it rains, send us a photo of where it sits and we will tell you what it needs.
What does a drainage job cost?
It depends on the length of the run, how deep it has to go, and where the water can be discharged. Nationally most yard drainage projects land between $3,000 and $4,000, with small fixes coming in well under that. We quote every job after seeing the property rather than guessing over the phone.
Do you build dry creek beds and stone retaining walls?
Yes. Dry creek beds are one of our most-requested projects because they solve a drainage problem and look like a landscape feature at the same time. We also set feature boulders, build stone borders, and construct boulder and stacked stone retaining walls on a proper base with drainage behind them.
Can drainage and stone work be done in winter?
Yes, and winter is often the better time. The ground is bare, plants are dormant, and there is much less to work around. Drainage and stone work are two of the few landscaping jobs that do not have to wait for spring.

How often should shrubs and hedges be trimmed?
Most shrubs and hedges benefit from trimming once or twice per season depending on the species and how quickly they grow. Regular trimming keeps plants healthy, controls growth, and keeps your property looking sharp.
What is included in a yard cleanup?
Our cleanups cover debris removal, bed clearing, and general property tidying. We handle seasonal cleanups and post-storm work to get your yard back in shape quickly.
